Nouare was created in 2017 by French jewellery designer Marie Bertel, wanting to create a brand that focused on nature, both in the aesthetic form of each piece and the environmental impact, to create a fully sustainable brand.

This expansion feels like a natural soul calling, a deeper expression of our commitment to holistic well-being. Living off-grid with my family, I practice conscious living daily - from the way we source our food to how we care for our bodies. Every herbal remedy is handmade with love, using 100% natural, mindfully sourced ingredients that I trust enough to use with my own family.
My passion for plant medicine led me to complete comprehensive herbalism training - over 60 hours of intensive study plus 14 weeks of hands-on learning through certified herbalism courses. This formal education, combined with my deep intuitive connection to plants, ensures that every remedy I create is both traditionally grounded and safely formulated.
Living Our Values Daily I live off-grid, making conscious choices each day not just for myself, but for my son Noah. This isn't just about what I sell - it's about how I live. Every decision, from the herbs I harvest to the way I raise my son, reflects my deep commitment to natural, sustainable living. I work closely with other friends and artists to have beautiful images and graphic designs because I believe that together we are stronger and I absolutely love the power of coming together to create beauty.

Each piece that I sell is mainly supporting my off-grid lifestyle, my son, other small businesses that I support, community projects and organic growers.
